If you remember the first post from this season, you may remember me saying how I’ve been lucky not to have been rained on in the five years of doing this. Well…. even while most of the country was in record droughts, it managed to rain on the days of five weddings. Everyone says it’s good luck when it rains on your wedding day, which certainly may be true, but I can tell you it doesn’t make it easy on wedding photographers.
Tierney and Darrell live in California but met in Wisconsin so they decided to have their wedding here. It was held in downtown Milwaukee at the Humphrey Scottish Rite Masonic Center. It wasn’t supposed to rain at all but as soon as the ceremony ended, we came outside to a downpour. Luckily they were good sports about everything I threw at them and didn’t have an issue getting a little wet and a lot of cold.
