Jillian & Rick are married! Their Third Ward winter wedding at Cuvee kicked off another season of us photographing weddings.
There isn’t an better couple to be described as easy-going. Since day one, Jillian & Rick have had a clear view of what they wanted their wedding day to be like. They wanted it to be a party that centered around their love. They received the advice to “be a guest at your own wedding” and they lived up to it.
So, they got Danielle from Rosewood Weddings involved. She made their dreams come true at Cuvee. This included (but not limited to): a cocktail style reception, disco balls, chandeliers, indoor trees, a band that didn’t stop rocking and a mariachi band!
For us, there were tons of things to love about Jillian & Rick’s wedding day. But for them, being together was the main theme. Here’s what they each said:
My favorite part was the time between the ceremony and reception. Rick & I deciding to spend that time alone allowed us to slow down, be present, and celebrate this surreal experience together.

We haven’t laughed harder than we have with Jillian & Rick. They made the transition back into the new year the best ever. We just can’t say more… they’re simply the best (insert Tina Turner jam here). We’ll use any excuse to get Tina Turner into a blog post!
Congratulations Jillian & Rick!
