Stephanie & Chris | A JanSerr Wedding in August

share /

Stephanie & Chris are married and what a day at JanSerr it was!

Setting: a summer tennis court in high school.

Stephanie decided last minute that she wanted to play in a mixed doubles tournament… and she wanted Chris to be her partner. However, Chris had already signed up to play with someone else. With some batting of the eyes, Stephanie won him over and he left his other partner in the dust. As much as we’d love to tell you they won the tournament, sadly, they did not.

However, they did become good friends! Chris had a crush though and eventually won over Stephanie with coffee dates to Alterra and walks by the lake. Alas, here we are, talking about their wedding day.

These two both agreed their favorite part of the day was being on the dance floor with all their best friends and family at the end of the night. Oh – and we made a pitstop in between the ceremony and reception at Hacienda Brewing Company. There’s nothing like a cold beer on a hot summer day…

With a great planner like Rachel from Blue Fancy Events and Stephanie & Chris’s organized manner, there was little stress on the day! Chris said this aspect surprised him but not us!

[I was surprised about] how quickly the day went (even quicker than I imagined even though everyone warns you). But also surprised by the ease of letting all the worries go and to just enjoy the day. As soon as the first look came and went, a switch turned and we were both just on cloud 9 ready to enjoy the day no matter what happened.
