A Snow Engagement

Katie and Chris are doing “engaged” their own way.  And we’re thrilled to be a part of it.

When we initially met with Katie & Chris, they planned on having their ceremony in Katie’s parents beautiful backyard.  The reception would follow at Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery. Anyone who has ever planned a wedding before will tell you that it gets a little stressful at time. Theres so many choices, so many opinions. Well, a few months after securing their wedding venue, they decided to change things up.  Though there are still decisions and choices to be made, they’ll be doing it their own way by hosting the entire day at Katie’s parents house. It’s a very special place to them and their families!  They are so excited!

For their engagement session, we met these beer lovers at Stubby’s Gastropub & Beer Bar. Then they took us to one of their favorite hiking spots in the city. Of course, their pup Porter joined us. Nature is very important to Katie & Chris.  It’s their church and they surround themselves in it whenever possible.  For their engagements, it was important for them to get out in the elements.  With a perfectly planned day, snow flurries started right after we began the session.  It cannot get better.
