High school sweethearts, Melissa & Ryan, are getting married! They met while Melissa was a freshman and Ryan was a sophomore at Greendale High School.  What was their first date?  Taco Bell!  Since then, they’ve gone on about a million dates. It’s not stopping there either.

Over the summer, Ryan devised a plan to get Melissa downtown. He had his sister-in-law call Melissa to see if they wanted to go to their niece’s violin recital at the Performing Arts Center. Melissa thought, “WOW! It must be a big deal if it’s down there, how could we miss it!?” When they arrived downtown, Ryan pretended like his dad called him to tell him they had the wrong time of the recital. Since they were now “early” and had time to kill, they hopped in a horse and buggy who “happened to be passing by”.  Of course, Ryan made the reservations and Melissa knew what was happening after that.

For their engagement session, we had the day on the schedule for months. As the date got closer, I didn’t think we’d have snow.  Well, the day came and… you’ll see. It was perfect! These two beautiful people are getting married next summer at the Grain Exchange.  We’re humbled to be a part of their day!
