We get it.  Sometimes, engagement sessions can be awkward.  Especially if you’re in a very public place.  At least with a wedding, everyone can tell what you’re doing because of what you’re wearing.  For an engagement session though, most passersby think we’re filming a bad reality TV show or something like that.   We have many reasons why we highly recommend the session but the most selfish one is because we actually want to get to know the couples we work with!  We have a lot of fun meeting at coffee shops or bars and learning more of their story.  After an hour or so of catching up, things tend to be a bit less awkward.

We bring this up not because Lauren and Aaron weren’t at all awkward.  We mention this because we had a great time with them on Thursday.  These two met and started dating over eight years ago when they were in high school. Now, they are engaged to be married in April!    We met them at their usual hangout, Buck Bradley’s, and shared a few beers and a plate of nachos before heading into the city for their shoot.  How can you beat that?!
