Laura & John are engaged!

In just three short months, Laura & John will be tying the knot at the Pabst Best Place! Their relationship began Laura’s senior year of undergraduate school. Like TJ & I, these two also met at a bar! Guu’s on Main in Stevens Point will always hold a special little place in their hearts. Right after meeting, Laura & John started seeing each other for dinner & drinks – one of their favorite pastimes. Their favorite was El Mezcal on Thursday nights for buy-one, get-one margaritas!

On Laura’s golden birthday, she asked John for a gold ring. They went out for drinks and dessert – all in the back of her mind, Laura thought a proposal was on the radar. However, John played it cool all night. He wanted to surprise Laura and threw her off. By the time they got home, she was thinking the opportunity had passed and got ready for bed without a birthday present. Out of nowhere, and to really surprise her, John proposed as they were home, relaxed and ready for bed.
