Stephanie & Chris are engaged!

In early October, we met Stephanie & Chris for the first time. Over beers, of course. They told us all about how they met in high school! We loved the story. As they say, their “first date” was a mixed doubles tennis tournament at a Club Stephanie worked for at the time. At last minute, she asked Chris to be her partner but he was already signed up with someone else. With some batting of the eyes, she easily convinced him to ditch his other partner and play with her. Sorry to report, they did not win the tournament but lost to very young, very talented players.

At that point, they considered themselves friends but started meeting up for coffee at Alterra (we miss you). Those small coffee dates lead to bigger dates at Lakeshore State Park where eventually, they’d get engaged. Their upcoming August wedding at the new Birch in Wauwatosa will be full of people from all over, hoping for a beautiful August night under the stars.
