Kait & Randy are married – again!
Last May, Kait & Randy postponed their wedding at The Ivy House in Milwaukee. They held a small, intimate backyard ceremony with family (and TJ) instead and held off their big celebration until March 2021. And here we finally are!
While Kait was getting ready, her and her mom were remembering how much they planned and replanned and replanned again. They said they couldn’t have done it all without Emily of Events to a T! Their day was original for the most part. They did move their ceremony to Filament instead of having it outdoors at The Ivy House. Other than that, all vendors traveled through their postponement with them. We’re thankful they did too because it was an all-star lineup (see them all listed below). Kait said, “(she was surprised at) how smoothly and effortlessly it went given all the planning and replanning” Oh, the powers of mom’s and wedding planners 🙂
To future couples, Kait & Randy said:
Do what you want, it’s your day! We planned and replanned but the day was perfect and we wouldn’t change a thing about it now. If you’re planning in a pandemic and have to postpone plan something small and special first and then have the big party. Even though we were already married, our wedding felt as special as if it was the first time. Also – do a first look! Everything felt so much less stressful and we were able to enjoy our cocktail hour with friends and family.
