Well this is a first. Yesterday, we did an anniversary session with Hannah & Adam but will be photographing their wedding this coming October. Let’s walk through it.
Just six-days before their March 21, 2020 wedding, Hannah & Adam made the gut wrenching decision to cancel their big day in Dubuque, Iowa. The world had just shut down and within days, they had forty guests back out. In an unforeseen snap, their wedding day wasn’t what they planned and they postponed to October 2020 then again to October 2021.
Hannah & Adam have handled all of this with humility, grace and with their heads held high. They have put everyone before them. I mean, what is your wedding day if the people you love aren’t around you celebrating your love?!
In May of last year, they signed official paperwork to seal-the-deal. They had just a few family members, hens, chick and hogs surrounding them on the family farm. They didn’t exchange vows, they didn’t dress up. They didn’t dance. They wanted to save all that for October of 2021.
It has felt like a lifetime has passed since Hannah & Adam did their engagement session in August of 2019. They’ve grown, matured, (married) and very obviously love each other so much. They were due for a new session to capture
We sincerely cannot wait to capture these two again in October. They deserve the best celebration and we know their family and friends will be ready to rock.
