Ashley & Ian are married!
If we’ve learned one thing through 2020 and 2021, it’s that people love small weddings. And you know what? So do we. At some point in 2020 (like, really, when was it? who knows) Ashley & Ian emailed us a wedding update. The short: their original venue flaked and they were forced to move resulting in a huge downsize. TJ and I did a little happy dance behind our computers.
Smaller weddings feel like a big hug. The details were … so detailed (some classify me as a poet). Ashley & Ian exchanged vows in front of their small group and they didn’t even need a microphone. There was supposed to be a garden tour of Villa Terrace but the sky decided to open up right for the cocktail hour. Instead, guests mingled in the courtyard with mini charcuterie cones. Ashley & Ian took the opportunity to scoot away by themselves and dance in the rain. Seriously. Ashley’s dress had one life to live and she wore it in the best way!
