Whitney & Ryan are married!

When it comes to planning weddings, there are normal brides, and then there is Whitney. Whitney has worked in the wedding industry for years before she transferred to a corporate setting within the same company. She has planned, setup and has seen hundreds of weddings.

As an outsider, Whitney & Ryan planned their wedding day in the best way. Their advice for future brides & grooms is:

Have fun, make decisions together, and don’t sweat about the small stuff. Even though wedding day is important it is only one day while the actual marriage is what it is all about. Have a clear budget and stick to it. Pay your wedding off ahead of time and purchase those little things that will add up in the end ahead of time, such as: cake cutting utensils, earrings, shoes, etc. Thank your guests and vendors and be sincere. Take multiple quiet moments throughout the day to soak it all in and smile at your new husband or wife. Lastly, be sure to have fun on the dance floor.

We couldn’t agree more. As a wedding vendor herself, take these words to heart. With all these tips, Whitney said, “…the overwhelming feeling of being so happy, nothing could have prepared us for how loved and happy we were on wedding day.”

So, with all the planning, there were a few things Whitney & Ryan didn’t see coming. One being rain right at ceremony time. The incredible staff of the Ivy House transformed the venue – that was set for dinner – into a beautiful ceremony. Whitney & Ryan also said, “First look together, the quiet photographed moments, stating our vows in front of all of our guests, last dance of the night” were their most favorite parts of the day!

Whitney & Ryan, photographing you was an honor.
Congratulations!
