Just about one year ago, I met Vera for the first time.  She was a whole eight-days old and about as fussy as a newborn can be.  Today was different.  Three days away from her first birthday, Vera was very calm.  Almost too calm!  Just about everything we did to try and make her smile didn’t phase her.  The only thing that worked was when dad bounced her up and down.  Regardless of her inquisitive expressions, Vera is quite the photogenic baby!  See for yourself..
