There are several things you can control on your wedding day. The weather is not one of them.

When we got to the Fitzgerald, the venue manager, Ben, asked Tommi if she’s like to move the ceremony inside as rain was in the forecast. Tommi had a vision of doing the ceremony in the Fitzgerald’s gorgeous courtyard – and she followed her heart. “No, I want to do the ceremony outside. We bought 50 umbrellas to prepare.” Hey hey hey, we love it!

However, right at the start of the ceremony, the rain began as well. Friends handed out umbrellas to all the guests and everyone snuggled in. Tommi & Freddy laughed through it all, just happy to be there, holding hands together.

Although one of our cameras may never operate the same (lol) we can’t get enough. Tommi & Freddy took the day as it came and smiled through it all. This attitude is imperative on wedding days! You’ve done all the planning you can. Now it’s time to let whatever happens, happen!
