When we began talking about Lauren & John’s engagement session, Lauren knew she wanted cooler weather. Since we initially met with them over winter, we blocked off a fall day for them. Of course, in true Wisconsin fashion, it was 90 degrees in mid-September. Lauren’s plans of chunky sweaters were thrown out the window. Although it was hot and humid, Lauren & John quickly grew comfortable in front of the camera. After meeting up with them at the Outsider for a few cocktails, we walked around the Third Ward for a little bit. Then, we headed to Saint Francis for some greener photographs.

Fall colors didn’t quite work out but we think their session was perfectly them. Lauren & John are getting married next year at The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee. There will be a lot of out of town guests to enjoy a true summer day with them!
