On a Friday afternoon in May, Erika and Rick got married at Pier Wisconsin.
Shannon met Erika and her sole bridesmaid, Jamie, at Signature Salon in Waukesha. They were so relaxed and joking about the night before. The ceremony was later in the afternoon, so Erika and Rick did a first look on the balcony of Discovery World. It opened up their day so much! We spent some time with just Erika and Rick, walking around the area. After family portraits, everyone went over to Harbor House for a pre-wedding celebration.
The ceremony was simple, sweet and lead right into cocktail hour. Bartolottas of course put on an awesome dinner in the Pilot House which was decorated by Gregory and Company Florist. When guests arrived in the room, it was like they were walking into a tropical paradise! VanRixel Productions got the dance floor moving with some sweet fog, too! Erika said, “There was so much to do (pet stingrays and fish, aquarium, photo booth, candy table by Sugar Mama, and dancing) it went by way too fast!
The highlight of the day for Erika and Rick was “Watching the fireworks on the balcony with everyone.” That’s right, there were fireworks!
We love their advice to future brides and grooms: “Try not to stress out about everything.. All the work is worth it in the end.” And, my oh my, was it ever.
All the sweet, little details…
