Abby & Ryan are married!
The definition of a long engagement features a photograph of Abby & Ryan. Ryan proposed on May 28, 2016 during a super romantic, planned outing with friends and family at the Urban Ecology Center. They contacted us shortly after and we’re so happy they did. These two are so happy, so energetic and so so kind.
On their wedding day, they opted for a “fake first look”, where they stood back-to-back, held hands and just talked. Simple things like “I’m so excited” and “how was your morning?” It seemed to calm both of their nerves before the ceremony at Gesu. This part of the day was both Abby and Ryan’s favorite parts of the day! They also shared favorites in dancing together at the reception.
Gesu and the Pfister were chalk full of friends and family who traveled great distances to be there as Abby & Ryan sealed-the-deal. While they said this aspect surprised them, it also made the day go super fast! They were social butterflies all day.
When it comes to their advice for future couples planning their wedding, they said:
Enjoy every minute of your wedding day, and make sure to take a few minutes to spend together. Stand back and look at everyone at your reception to realize everyone is here for you and your love.
Congratulations Abby & Ryan!
