The Reserve in Neenah

Last August, we got an email from Molly & Max. They were in the midst of solidifying their venue, The Ballroom at the Reserve, in downtown Neenah, Wisconsin. They were determining their date based on the band and photographers availability. As wedding photographers, this is such a huge honor! After a few back-and-forth emails, we Skyped with Molly & Max and just clicked.

The Ballroom at the Reserve is located the heart of downtown Neenah. The building was constructed in 1909 and was the home of the Equitable Fraternal Union in Neenah. The building was recently renovated into a craft brewery, offices, a salon and on the top floor… a wedding venue. During the construction they kept the rich character of the building and it is so so charming. The woodwork, the hand painted signage on doors, the flooring. It’s truly a beautiful space! This was our first time working in Neenah and The Reserve may have spoiled us 🙂

On their wedding day, Molly & Max were so relaxed. There was no stress, no fuss. They even said, “We were most surprised by how calm and stress-free the day was and how easy it was to just enjoy ourselves”. That’s exactly what we hope your wedding day is like! As they planned their wedding, Molly & Max thought back on what they remembered from other people’s weddings. Together they noted “if we couldn’t remember those details, then they weren’t worth worrying or stressing about for our own wedding.”

Molly & Max agreed their favorite part of the wedding day was dinner. They concluded, “It was a good chance to look around the room and see all of our family and friends enjoying the day.” The speeches were emotional and everyone was present in the moment. These two had an absolutely beautiful day!
