Katie and Spencer met in preschool! Seriously, while we were having a beer before their engagement session, Katie showed us a photo of them from Spencer’s fifth birthday party. In the photo, they’re sitting next to each other and it’s absolutely adorable. Also in the photograph is a lifelong friend who is standing up in their October of 2016 wedding.
Their love for each other didn’t come until much later, though having known each other that long is pretty cool. Katie and Spencer love nature, camping, hiking and their sweet pup, Ollie. For their engagement session, we hopped around the Third Ward, then headed to the Urban Ecology Center, where Katie used to work as an Environmental Educator. Katie and Spencer laughed and joked the entire session which made for some awesome photos. They fully embraced the awkwardness that engagement photos can bring!
Their wedding next year at The Barn at Trinity Peak Oconomowoc. It’ll be our first trip there and we’re thrilled to be a part of their day. Until next year, take a peek at their engagement photos!
