Whitney & Ryan are engaged!

Backstory: we met Whitney while she worked at Lake Park Bistro. She was an intricate part of the business, helping plan events and weddings. This girl knows her stuff! When she got engaged to Ryan, we secretly hoped she’d reach out to us for her photography. Working with people within the wedding industry is one of the highest honors for us. With all the photographers she saw every weekend, we made the cut!

Last July, Ryan proposed to Whitney after their favorite activity together… brunch. The morning started at their favorite spot: Zisters. Naturally, after brunch, one must nap. When rain ruined their walk by the lake, they did the most adult thing ever by going grocery shopping instead. As Whitney was cleaning the bathroom and getting ready for dinner, Ryan insisted on help in the spare bedroom. When Whitney walked in the room he had the ring and asked her to marry him. “We concluded the night with dinner and called all of our friends and family members,” they said.

This upcoming June, Whitney & Ryan will get married at the exact spot of their first date: The Ivy House. When they met, it was 2016 and it was still the Sangria Bar. They are so excited to continue their adventure in such a familiar spot! Until then…
