Mary & Eric | Wedding photography Milwaukee

My last wedding of 2010 that took place in the good ol’ USA was that of Mary and Eric.  Let me start out by saying, this is the best job in the world.  I meet so many interesting and talented people doing this every weekend.  I’ve met artists, singers, movie producers, actors, racing sausages and even Bernie Brewer.  Mary and Eric got married at her father’s church,  Redeemer United Church Of Christ in Sussex and then had their reception at Legends of Brandybrook.  Mary’s dad is the Pastor of the church and he was the one who married them.

Before looking at the pictures, I feel like there are some that need a few explaining.  Eric is a huge Milwaukee Brewers fan so Mary surprised him by inviting the Racing Sausages to their reception.  I give those guys credit… they stayed and danced non-stop for an hour, no small task.  Before that, there were two special performances before the dancing began.  First, Mary’s brother decided to serenade the couple as his gift to them and secondly, Mary sang a great tune to her new husband.  Mary can really really sing.  It was very impressive.  And all the details.. Eric made all of them.  Additionally, Eric and Mary met while she working the drive thru at Dunns Bros Coffee in Pewaukee which explains the stop there.

I don’t normally post pictures of the “formal” family pictures because honestly, unless you are in the family, you probably do not want to see them.  But….  this time I’m going to post one for two reasons.  The first reason is to show that I actually know how to take formals and secondly, I love the picture.  I’m also the biggest sucker for the father/daughter dance at weddings.  For obvious reasons, it’s one of the more emotional few minutes of the entire day.  This wedding yielded one of those moments.

Anyway,  take a look at Mary and Eric’s wedding… it’s going to be a huge post:
