Marit & Nial are married!

Somehow, a blurry night at Garage on Brady Street turned into an adorable proposal in Florence, Italy.

When they booked their trip to Italy, Marit knew a proposal was in the books. Not only had they joked about it for months, they also went ring shopping together.

The original plan was while they visited the Piazzale Michelangelo with the Florence city view. However, it was way to busy. The second attempt didn’t work out either due to closed parks. So! As Marit came out of their Airbnb bathroom, Nial proposed right then and there. The impromptu planning threw Marit off and she was speechless. They loved the vacation so much, they named their sweet pup Florence!

Prior to their wedding day, Marit & Nial talked about staying together the whole day. This might seem silly, but it happens often that couple split up during cocktail hour to cover/talk to more guests. They said, “We were very intentional about staying together every moment we could, and are glad we did!”

Because of this, the time between the ceremony and reception was their favorite part of the day together; “greeting our guests on the Atrium rooftop. The weather was absolutely perfect.”

My favorite part of the day was the first look. It was a surreal experience that I will never forget. It felt like meeting you again for the first time!
