The winter engagement sessions are in full force this week! Earlier in the week I did a session for Nicole and Mike and today I had one with Marie and Aaron. I’ve known Marie for quite a while now and last summer I ran into her at the Summer Solstice Block Party. It was there that she told me that Aaron had proposed to her and they were going to be getting married at The Lakefront Brewery. Since I’ve been doing weddings, I’ve really wanted to do one there so of course I told her I was interested. It’s still 6 months away but I’m very much looking forward to it.
This was a really fun and low-key session. They were quite natural in front of the camera but I think Aaron might have been using me to kick-start his career as an international male model. I think what helped them with being so relaxed was me slipping and falling down a hill. As a photographer, you have to do whatever it takes.
