Makenzie & Erik are engaged!
For Kenzie & Erik’s engagement photos, we met them in Madison – they’re old stomping ground. As we walked along the streets of Madison and the Memorial Union, they reminisced on their days there.
These two met in true Badger fashion: at a Badger football tailgate party. Erik is friends with Kenzie’s brother, Dan, so Kenzie & Erik were both there. Dan claims he didn’t intend to set them up. The verdict may never be reached on this. When Kenzie & Erik first met, she was a freshman and Erik was a Junior.
Seven months later, they went on their first date. A spot near and dear to all Madisonites: Tutto Pasta. When they told me this, I envisioned them kissing over a plate of spaghetti and meatballs a la Lady & The Tramp style. However, their first kiss was actually after a study date at the library. Erik walked her home like a true gentleman and they kissed in the rain. A la Notebook style (though, Kenzie claims it was not picturesque as they were in their raincoats standing outside of a dorm).
Kenzie & Erik are getting married next June at the Ivy House in Milwaukee. Until they grace our blog again, get a look at these two beautiful faces!
