The day for Lindsay and Josh began at St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc in front of a packed house. Family and friends all gathered to witness these two recent grads of Marquette and Valparaiso tie-the-knot. After the ceremony, the two were so nice to take us on a huge pontoon boat for some relaxing time on Lake Okauchee. While the two picked out their hypothetical future home, we snapped pictures of the wedding party and scenery. Dinner and dancing continued at the Golden Mast, which I’ve been hoping to get in on since our very good friends, Nick and Michelle, got married there in September of 2012.
At the end of the night all wedding guests gathered outside to send off Chinese lanterns. Everyone, including Shannon and I, loved this part of the night. I’m surprised we haven’t see more of this – watching the lanterns float into the night sky was really cool.
