The year of great weddings continues…
This time it was Laura and Andy’s wedding in Rockton, Illinois at the Orchard Ridge Farms. It has a renovated farm house tucked into 130 acres of farmland. As soon as we pulled up we knew it was going to be a beautiful place to shoot.
And just like every other day this summer, it was hot. So hot, in fact, that they entertained the idea of moving the ceremony inside. They toughed it out though and I’m glad they did because the ceremony was held underneath an old tree overlooking the farm. Something new to me was how Andy’s family incorporated their Mexican heritage throughout the day. Any wedding that has a mariachi band is ok in my book!
