As Kristina and Maxx prepped for their wedding day, the blue skies were shining. The girls were having a blast at Hotel Metro while the gentleman did their guy thing at the Iron Horse. Regardless of which side of Milwaukee we were, the entire wedding party radiated energy. Everyone was so excited for Kristina and Maxx and it showed. The two finally met up as they walked down the aisle at the Church of Gesu in Milwaukee. As we took family photos afterwards by the Joan of Arch Chapel, a light shower started. We had plans to head up to Iron Horse but couldn’t have missed the opportunity to take photos with some local sorority girls props. You’ll see the photos below but these girls had huge, glittery letters for their sorority and could not have been more perfect. They had one K, one M and one giant heart. I’m still in awe on how this came together. Minutes after we had our fun with that, the skies opened and we got stuck in the rain. Not just rain but a downpour. We couldn’t have gotten to the Iron Horse faster.
The “l-inner” (lunch + dinner, get it?!) started early at Bacchus and dancing ensued with a band and DJ later in the evening. They kept it small and personal; it was easy to see that it wasn’t just the wedding party that was excited to celebrate with Kristina and Maxx and not even bad weather could bring spirits down. When the rain stopped, we had a small opportunity to get outside and capture the one colorful tree in Milwaukee. These photos are some of my favorite.
Check out how we saw their day..
