Since Madison is just a hop & jump away from Milwaukee, Kathryn & Ari decided to do their engagement photographs there. We love Madison for many reasons and so does Kathryn & Ari. Actually, their story is a little more in depth than just “enjoying” the city.
Kathryn grew up there. Literally, her 10th birthday party was at the capital. Can you imagine cute little Kathryn, getting excited to go to the capitol building for her birthday? It’s really no wonder she went into law. Which, of course, she studied at UW-Madison. This is where she met Ari. Though he didn’t finish his law degree in Wisconsin, their story unfolded and here we are today.
A few months ago, Ari conceived a plan with Kathryn’s sister, Ellie, to get Kathryn to Madison. Ellie was engaged at the time, so Ellie told Kathryn she needed some help with wedding details. Ari and Kathryn made plans to go up for the day and help out. While there, Ari somehow got Kathryn to the capitol and got down on one knee. They’re getting married at the beautiful Historical Society in Milwaukee next summer!
