Weddings at Camp Wandawega are something special.

Imagine this: you’re invited to stay at Camp Wandawega. A magical spot Elkhorn, Wisconsin that opened in 1925. It’s been many things along the way – a speakeasy, a hotel, a tavern, a church. It’s still a camp fit with roughly 30 tents and cabins throughout the property and there’s a lot spots for people to catch some zzz’s. When they’re not resting, camp activities are encouraged: swimming, archery, crafts and hiking.

So back to imagining. You’re living out the summer camp of your dreams with all your adult friends. Then, one night of the stay, is a wedding with two of your besties. You get dressed up, there’s probably open bar, there’s a great dinner and a huge dance party. Does this get better?

Kate & Dylan said they loved walking around Camp throughout the wedding weekend and “seeing our guests enjoying themselves doing allll of the camp activities!”

What’s the possible downside of camping? Rain. The night before the wedding, there was torrential thunderstorms in the area. Everyone hunkered down and waited it out. It turned into a beautiful day at Camp Wandawega for Kate & Dylan’s wedding.
