Julia & Chase are married!
Okay okay, Julia & Chase have been married. When we met with them in 2019, Shannon was eight months pregnant with our little Rosie. They were excited to get married in July of 2020. Little did we all know what was in store for us just a few months after that meeting.
- Mini engagement session at the Urban Ecology Center.
- We welcomed Rosie in November of 2019.
- The world shut down in March 2020.
- A beautiful engagement session in downtown Milwaukee.
- Julia & Chase rescheduled their July 2020 wedding to May 30, 2021.
- Julia is our N95 mask fairy, making sure we’re safely equipped to photograph weddings during a very scary time.
- Chase is stationed in Virginia, so they move.
- Julia & Chase rescheduled their wedding to September 9, 2023.
- Julia & Chase moved to the Twin Cities in July 2023 to open a dental practice together.
- Rosie starts K3.
- Julia & Chase get married (again – they formally got married somewhere in there between 2019 – 2023 ;).
WOW! With all this, we’re excited to close the chapter of covid reschedules. However, we’re seriously sad to close out Julia & Chase’s job. We may be done photographing them for now, but we’ll forever trust these two with teeth questions, and tribulations.
With so much time and planning under their belt, we asked Julia & Chase for their advice to future couples. They said “…. challenge themselves to reflect on what they REALLY want out of their special day – ahead of time. It helps put it all into perspective.”
They were not prepared for their sibling’s speeches, who absolutely brought the house down. Julia & Chase said hearing all their speeches was the highlight of their day. “We were so humbled by their kind but mostly hilarious words. We feel so lucky to have all of them as brothers and sisters!”
Julia & Chase, it has been a true honor to work with you over these years.
