Jordan & Jim are married!
A perfect winter wedding. Let’s talk about it.
When Jordan & Jim planned their winter wedding at Turner Hall in Milwaukee, they wanted the wedding to feel like them. They wanted to maximize their time together and incorporate personal touches that felt important to them.
When we asked Jordan her advice to future couples, she said “Jordan – find moments to be together just you two throughout the wedding day! Make that a priority – we loved the sweetheart table too, make sure your wedding feels like you (I love sending letters and wrote a letter as escort cards, we wrote our own vows, and we had mixed bridal parties which were very reflective of our people, had a family member officiate, etc)”
Jim said, “don’t sweat the small stuff, and remember the reason you’re getting married is to celebrate your love with all your friends and family, use any conflicts as a chance to better understand your partner”.
With as much as you can plan for your wedding day, and especially with the expert help of Liz of Dream Weddings, it’s important to know *something* will do amiss. For Jordan & Jim, it was the fire alarm set off by Jim’s nephew. He’s on track to hear about this his entire life. The blaring alarm didn’t deter anyone from enjoying cocktail hour at the historic venue though. The party continued with a story to take home!
Congratulations Jordan & Jim!
