Melanie and Joe are getting married this coming August so we met up yesterday for their engagement photos.

Growing up, my younger brother, Chad, and I had the pleasure (and ease) of sharing a lot of friends since we’re 12.5 months apart.  Since Chad and Joe became best friends in sixth grade, I got to share him too.  Our group shared many days, nights and memories in middle and high school.  It’s been a pleasure watching all of these guys grow.  And now get married!

Melanie also went to high school with us, though Joe and her didn’t start dating until college.  They’re absolutely adorable together and compliment each other so well.  And seriously, can she be any prettier?

For their engagement session, we drove out to Joe’s parents house in Sussex.  As you can see, their yard was a perfect change of pace for us.  Their dog, George, got to practice dive bombing into the long grass while we practiced posing with Mel and Joe.
