Emily & Chris are married!

The quintessential spring day, just for Emily & Chris! The trees were flowering, the weather was just right and the sun was shining. It really was perfect.

When people are closely related to a big event, there’s always some anxiety about it, right? I have it every time I set an alarm (medicate me). Emily said she “kept having nightmares of things going wrong.” But, here’s the thing with weddings. They turn out regardless of what happens. In the case of Emily & Chris, their day turned out amazing. Nothing went wrong, the weather was incredible, everyone was happy and the dance floor was absolutely packed.

Emily & Chris were not originally planning on doing a First Look. After chatting and talking through their timeline, they decided upon one. It ended up being their favorite part of the day!

Do a first look! We were contemplating it at first, but after Shannon & TJ kindly advised us to do one, we went with it. And wow are we happy we changed our minds! It let us have a moment together to let the nerves out, let it all sink in, and made the rest of the day so comfortable and amazing.
