Amy & Steve are married!

After being together for 12 years, Amy & Steve made it official-official in front of their closest friends, family members, and daughter, Valentina on a Wednesday. Not just any Wednesday – it was summer solstice! As if that date alone wasn’t special, it was Amy’s parent’s anniversary. Amy’s advice to future couples is: Definitely have a Wednesday wedding!

When Amy & Steve reached out to us, they wanted to honor her parents but also spend the longest day of the year with their favorite people. Although the sunset was at 8:36 PM, it didn’t get truly dark for another hour. The moon was in a beautiful waxing crescent phase with Venus and Mars hanging by a thread.

Another reason for a weekday wedding was most of Amy & Steve’s guests were from out of town. These two have lived in so many places and accumulated friends in every stage of life. To accommodate everyone’s summer schedules, they thought a weekday wedding was best! She was right! Milwaukee showed off its best self with a perfect day. See for yourself…
