Diana & Nathaniel are married!
In Diana’s parents home, Diana & Nathaniel got ready together with their daughters and friends. They passed each other occasionally for a kiss or a quick “hi!” When it came time to get dressed, Diana headed up stairs and Nathaniel stayed on the lower level. Though Loretta, their oldest daughter, whispered to dad what mom’s dress looked like, Nathaniel said after “your dress isn’t anything like Loretta described!” We wandered around the families picture-perfect yard for portraits before the ceremony.
Although the radar looked clear, “the whisper of rain that came at the coolest time… just as the wedding party was having a toast before heading down the aisle” was Diana & Nathaniel’s favorite part of the day. The rain continued throughout the ceremony but no one seemed to mind. Everyone smiled, looked up and carried on.
As the wedding neared, Loretta told us dress had special powers and Rosalie, Diana & Nathaniel’s youngest daughter, picked grandma and grandpa’s flowers for her basket. They literally danced down the aisle as they laid petals for mom to walk on. During the ceremony, Rosalie couldn’t contain her excitement. She danced around as Diana & Nathaniel read personal vows, sang and even got in the middle of the first kiss.
After the short ceremony, everyone scattered and headed over to Company Brewing in River West. They recruited tons of friends to help make their day happen. From the musicians, to the food & flowers, every piece of the day had a very personal touch. The day couldn’t have been better & we’re so thankful to have been a part of it!
Congratulations Diana, Nathaniel, Loretta & Rosalie!
