Amanda & Casey are married! Their classic wedding ceremony was at St. John’s Northwestern Military Academy and the celebration continued at The Legend of Brandybrook in Wales, Wisconsin.
One of the first things Amanda said to us upon arrival was “Casey lost his voice.” She went on to say he never gets sick! Of course, come the wedding day he got little words out. Because Casey couldn’t talk, Amanda & Casey’s wedding advice for future brides & grooms comes from a unique perspective. They said, “Soak up every minute and spend as much time that day with your husband/wife as you can. It seems easy to get pulled apart by your respective family and friends. It seems easy to get pulled apart by your respective family and friends and it was almost a blessing Casey lost his voice that day. I (Amanda) always had to be with him to translate, so we spent the entire day by each other’s side and never got pulled apart for long! Of course I wish he could have talked, but the day ended up perfect nonetheless.” She is right, after the First Look, Amanda & Casey didn’t leave each other’s sides. They said the First Look was their favorite part of their day. They said, “it calmed our nerves and really set the tone for us to focus on each other.”
Amanda & Casey met during graduate school at Saint Louis University. According to Lauren, Amanda’s sister, they fell in love in the cadaver lab. If that isn’t love we don’t know what is! With their crazy schedules, Amanda’s mom, Sue stepped in to help out with a lot of the planning. Amanda wanted to send out a special thank you to her! Also, special thanks to Janelle with événement planning. All powers combined, Amanda and Casey’s day couldn’t have been more relaxing.
Congratulations Amanda & Casey!
