Ruthie and Kyle are married! For their destination wedding, they tied the knot and celebrated all week with their closest friends and family at Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa.
While playing volleyball on Bradford Beach in 2011, Ruthie & Kyle were introduced by friends. It only took them six-months to go on their first official date at Umami Moto in Milwaukee. While we were all in Las Vegas in February of 2014, Kyle told us he was going to propose soon and that he’d really like to have us capture the proposal! So, in August of 2014, they made it official! Kyle proposed to Ruthie right where it started – at Umani Moto and we were there to capture it all. Check out their awesome proposal here.
For their wedding in Cancun, they kept things simple. Ruthie’s advice to future brides and grooms is, “Keep it simple and in your style. Don’t get too carried away with all of the details, the fact is you get to marry the person you love the most, everything else is a bonus.”
She also added, (which we just couldn’t leave out), “Also, don’t have a long engagement, it leaves too much time to spend on Pinterest. Trust your vendors to do what they do best. You hired them because they are good, so let them do their magic!”
Without further ado, here’s how we saw their day…
