Jessica and Rob are married! They tied-the-knot at the beautiful Milwaukee Art Museum.
From their initial meeting to even past their wedding date, Jessica and Rob have been the most considerate and polite couple. They met in 2011 when they both worked for nonprofit organizations. Rob had clients that went to one of the facilities where Jessica’s office was located. He was dropping off a client as she arrived to work. They met for coffee a few weeks later, and the rest is history!
When we met with them over a year ago, they described the vision of their wedding day to us. It was exactly what TJ and I strive to photograph. And to make it better, their love for each other just radiates! They had a later ceremony at the MAM, and they were thrilled to do a First Look. They said this was one of their favorite moments of the day, too. Jessica said, “That moment was overwhelmingly exciting, emotional and special all at once. ” Afterwards, we built in a large chunk of time for portraits with the two of them. The Milwaukee Art Museum grounds can’t possibly be prettier.
Jessica and Rob had a lot of “other favorite moments” too. Including “looking out onto Lake Michigan during the ceremony, their reception entrance and looking out at the beautiful reception tables during dinner.” Jess also said, “waiting in the elevator with my Dad to make our walk down the aisle.”
Since they had a longer engagement (one of their pieces of advice for future brides and grooms), they had time to enjoy the engagement and so more DIY-projects. Jessica even hand-painted a small canvas for every single guest (including us)! She’s so talented!
