And so it is.  Another year in the books.  Number six for me and it turned out to be my biggest year to date.  We shot 22 weddings this year and all over the place like  Mexico twice, North Carolina, Iowa, Illinois, and even the batters box at Miller Park.  At those 22 weddings, we shot 38,912 pictures and had 23,000 people visit this website.  And to top it off… I was crowned the Milwaukee A-List Best Wedding Photographer in Milwaukee.  Not a bad year at all.

You may have noticed in these write up’s that I use the pronoun “we” a lot.   Well the “we” part of TJ Uttke Photography is my lovely assistant/girlfriend Shannon.  Shannon has been working with me for over a year now and I cannot thank her enough for all that she does for me.  Not only is she my secret weapon when it comes to actually taking pictures (a good portion of the pictures you see from weddings are taken by her), but she keeps me sane throughout the day and she does all the design work here too.  I wouldn’t do half the work I take on if it wasn’t for her.

So here it is… the Best of 2012 slideshow.  I’m pretty sure I included every session I did this year so make sure you look for your photo.  And for those wondering, the first song is by Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys) called Going Home and the second song is Big Parade by the Lumineers.

Thanks again to everyone we worked with this past year.  I couldn’t have asked for a better one and I’m very much looking forward to 2013.
