Tara & Jeff are married!
Tara & Jeff dated for a long time before getting married. Life events came first: a house, a dog. Their individual careers. Tara said, ” I used to think that nothing would change after marriage because we already owned a home and live together and have a dog. But I was wrong. There is something uniquely special about being able to say those vows in front of friends and family. So while the day to day of our life hasn’t changed much, our relationship has. There’s just a bit more depth and finality to everything we do now and it feels like our relationship has renewed strength. Our relationship has always been good, but being married is better.”
They dreamt of an overseas elopement but the pandemic put a halt on that. Having never wanted the “big wedding”, they looked at the social restrictions as little bit of a gift.
With the help of Danielle from Rosewood Weddings, they planned the most beautiful, intimate wedding at Villa Filomena. If I do say so myself, it had a bit of a European flare to it as well. The courtyard turned into a movie set complete with bistro lights, ivy walls surrounding them and a tablescape to wow. Tall Guy & a Grill catered the event with a perfect multi-course meal with included little personal charcuterie boards. It was all really a sight for sore eyes.
As wonderful as their day was Tara said, “no matter what kind of wedding you have – big or small, pandemic or not – planning is hard. The only way out is through. And the other side is so, so worth it. Keep your eye on the prize.”
Congratulations Tara & Jeff!
