Tara & Austin got married at the Carriage House at Lac la Belle!

Wellington, New Zealand is regarded as the windiest city in the world. But on May 17, 2025, Oconomowoc, Wisconsin beat them out. Between 9 AM – 9 PM, the lowest wind speed we felt at The Carriage House was 24 mph, the highest gust being 36 mph! FYI: Wellington got up to 27 mph that day. If Mark Baden is reading, I’m for hire.

This spring has been extremely windy in southeastern Wisconsin. While the wind is disruptive, Tara flowed with it. Flyaways be damned!

The day wasn’t just windy for Tara & Austin. It was also busy! On their flight to their honeymoon, they realized they didn’t even know what the centerpieces looked like (don’t worry, TJ has that covered for you). They said, “a sign that we had an amazing day filled with chatting + celebrating with our guests… but it goes to show how quick the day flies by!
