We all know, what happens at the Garage doesn’t stay at the Garage. What started as a shot of tequila on Brady Street turned into a first date at Kyoto. And that was all she wrote!
When we walked into the bridal suite at St James 1868 on the morning of the wedding, we asked Krystal how she was feeling. She looked at us and said “I’m full of joy. I’m so happy.” That energy lasted through the day and late into the night.
It felt special just to be there with Krystal & Austin. They thought of every detail! They each took time to have a first look with parents and give them very thoughtful gifts. They read personal vows to each other during their portrait time. They had 200 prepared drinks for guests during cocktail hour (not having to wait in the bartending line right away….!!). They even had gifts for vendors. No stone was left unturned.
For as thoughtful as Krystal & Austin were in their planning (side note: their communication with us was A+), they said, “Wedding planning can be stressful. Take time throughout the process for yourselves to destress and make the planning more enjoyable. Krystal also had checklists with dates on when items needed to be completed which helped Austin stay on track.”
Seeing all their hard work come to life was a moment they didn’t realize they would love. They said “Austin and I loved the Room Reveal at the reception. We were so surprised how well everything turned out and it was amazing to see our vision come to life.”
For part of their planning, they took dancing lessons for two months to perfect their First Dance. It showed! These two might be on Dancing with the Stars in a few weeks. All the hard work they put in with Arthur Murray turned into their favorite moment of the wedding day when they were able to show off their hard work on the dance floor.
What a day!
Congratulations Krystal & Austin!
