Isabella & Luke met on hinge! Their first date was at a wine bar and they’ve been connected every since! They now live in Washington DC, but have home ties to Wisconsin.

They planned their wedding for a year and a half, and said “from the very start, we rooted it deeply in who we are. We knew what we didn’t want and we honestly were not even sure we wanted a wedding at all until we found Camp Wandawega, and from that point on, every decision came from a place of us.”

Isabella & Luke didn’t have one favorite part of the wedding day, but said the whole weekend felt magical. “saunas with the cousins, morning jumps in the lake, seeing everyone open the handwritten letters we wrote them. It was truly the best weekend of our lives.” Grandma killed it as the flower gurl and Luke dropped a Borat secret during the ceremony. Camp Wandawega has that magical effect on people!

They went on to say there were moments when others didn’t fully understand their vision. However, they stayed true to what they wanted and with the help of Danielle of Rosewood Weddings, they had the day of their dreams. Their advice to future couples: “stay true to who you are. Build a day that feels like you – not what you think you are supposed to do. When you do that, it won’t feel like a performance, it will feel like the most real, love filled, joy filled weekend of your life.”
