Sometimes you really do want to go where everybody knows your name. And they’ll be glad you came!

After Grace & Matthews first look, we wandered around charming Libertyville for a quick portrait session. We hit up some beautiful tree-lined roads and charismatic brick buildings. But as we roamed, we ran into Grace’s aunt and uncle, who own Island Tap (known as The Island by the cool kids). Although he was closing up the bar, preparing to go to, well… Grace & Matthews wedding… he gave us private access to the place. And just like my grandma used to say, when your uncle owns a small town Irish pub, it’s an untold requirement to go there for special events.

This time in the empty bar turned out to be Grace & Matthews favorite part of the day! They poured themselves a Guinness, sat on the bar and enjoyed the quite atmosphere before things heated up.

Grace & Matthew also favored the dance floor! Arlen Music Productions out of Chicago turned the dance floor up! Check it all out for yourself.
