My last wedding of 2009 was Ellen & Pat’s. You might remember their engagement session post where I stated that I was especially excited for theirs because of Gesu Church on Marquette University’s campus. Well, it did not disappoint. After living in Milwaukee for my entire life, I couldn’t believe I’ve never been to that church. It was incredible. For those of you that live in Milwaukee, do yourself a favor and go check the place out. It’s worth it.
When I meet prospective couples, I always tell them it’s important to feel comfortable with their photographer because besides their bridal party, the photographer is probably the only person with them the entire day. Just as they have to feel comfortable with me, I always worry about “fitting in” with the bridal party. This bridal party really went out of their way to make sure my job went smoothly and they included me in everything they did, which I can’t thank them enough for. They even invited me to sing karaoke with them even though I respectfully declined. All in all, the day couldn’t have been better and I think the pictures turned out well. Enjoy.
