Chrystal & Cody are married!

At some point in their engagement, I was on a phone call with Chrystal. She said, “our wedding won’t be fancy like all your other weddings”. And I had to slap her through the phone. Did you know you can do that? It’s true.

Here’s the deal. Chrystal & Cody got married at her parent’s lake home in Wild Rose, Wisconsin. The home has been in their family and it holds a special place in their hearts. The setting couldn’t have been more perfect.

It was intimate. It was thoughtful. It was gorgeous. There was great food, great desserts, and free-flowing drinks. There was a beautiful dog and the atmosphere was so light, that we wished we could have put our cameras down and partied all night with these guys.

Chrystal & Cody’s wedding day was perfect in every way. I can’t stress enough how much we love small backyard weddings! These two even made a bucket list wish come true for us — jumping in the lake in their full wedding attire. All before the first dances! Yes yes yes.

Note to future couples: Be more like Chrystal & Cody.
