About a week prior to their wedding day, not only is the couple updating weather.com every few hours, but we are too. When rain is in the forecast, we formulate a plan and hope for the best. After Cassandra and I spoke on the phone a few days prior to their wedding, we ended the conversation with “… but it’s not going to rain,” despite social outlets telling us otherwise.
I don’t know how they pulled it off or who was looking down on them that day but somehow, we were not hit. It rained all morning, but as soon as we got outside to take photographs, the sky was blue and beautiful. Immediately after portraits, it rained on our commute to the Ozaukee Country Club. Again, it stopped right in time for their patio planned cocktail hour. Needless to say, it turned out to be a great day for Cassandra and Chris.
