Betsy & Chad are married!

Since Betsy & Chad’s wedding in early July, we’ve had a few people say “oh you photographed Betsy & Chad?” following with “they are so fun”, “they throw the best parties”, “those two are the best”. When I met Betsy in the morning of their wedding, she began telling me about the Day After party they were hosting with a face painter. And the rehearsal dinner was clad with multiple wigs.

So when it came time for the wedding, the thoughtfulness they put into it all didn’t surprise us. And yet, surprised us. Betsy & Chad organized activities for every unique table at the reception based on who was sitting there. The activities were like “the DJ has a limbo stick ready for you”, and “How many Freds are at the wedding?” People squealed as they opened the sealed envelopes. Betsy & Chad said one of their favorite moments was “the laughter when people opened their table activities”.

Another favorite of the day (although they said it was hard to narrow down), was their Flash Dance — yes! They organized a Flash Dance to get people into the reception — the rave and large group hug at the end of the night.
