Ashley & Zach are married!

There are a lot of details you think about when planning your wedding day. Ashley & Zach picked their venue, the Miller Room, because of its close proximity to Lakeshore State Park. When they lived in Milwaukee, it was a favorite stop for evening walks. When Ashley, Zach, and I connected in July to go over all the details of the day and go over the timeline. When I asked if they had an idea of where they wanted to go, they knew, without a doubt: Lakeshore State Park.

Well, it turns out, there was a traveling triathlon in town and their HUB was Lakeshore. We had notice and we were able to pivot, thankfully! We have simply never seen the lakefront that busy. Why am I bringing up the past? Because of Ashley & Zach. They had a vision, but it went sideways. And they were cool as cucumbers. They loved their First Look and private vows the most but also “seeing all of our friends [and] family come together to support us and our marriage together”. They recognized that plans didn’t go directly as planned but they knew why they were there.

Have a good timeline and share it with everyone before so that there is less stress the week and the day of. That being said, don’t stress about the small stuff or really anything besides marrying your spouse the day of the wedding!
