Ashley & Jacob’s wedding ceremony was held at at St. Mary Parish School in Hales Corners, Wisconsin. Following their vows, the celebration continued downtown at Lupi & Iris in Milwaukee, where guests enjoyed some cocktails and a fantastic dinner together.

When asked about their favorite parts of the day, both Ashley and Jacob said “exchanging their vows” and their time at Lupi & Iris. During weddings, there are often anticipated moments, but for Ashley, one particular moment during the vows stands out as truly memorable and surprisingly comical.

Picture it: in the middle of their vows, their sweet son, Noah, declared he needed to go potty. And then his bag of Skittles tumbled to the floor, scattering everywhere. To top it off, the church was experiencing a power outage. Ashley’s reaction was pure grace and humor. She simply took it in stride, sharing her valuable wedding-day wisdom: “be in the moment and let things roll. Laugh at the unexpected.”
